Did you get the '16 with the 6 speed, cruise, and electronic suspension?  If the trophy becomes unreliable, the FJR is the likely candidate to replace it.

That's unfortunate. From what I've read, I believe the problem described is bent shift forks. The FJR is supposed to be a very nice bike, too.

Seriously ? You were told the chain probably needed adjustment ?

One Dealer to avoid in my book.... Surprising if it's Bill Smith of Chester but they are Suzuki and Yamaha main dealers..so not being positive about Triumph is what you could reasonably expect

A proper Triumph Main Dealer would have got that issue sorted for you pronto - Under Warranty no less.

I am completely satisfied with the After-Sales Service I receive from my Triumph Main Dealer (Performance Triumph, Cheltenham) I bought a used '12 TTSE from them over a year ago now and it's still getting work done under Warranty....
Just minor things, like the TPMS Sensors replacing, but nothing seems to be too much trouble for them

Echoing Gordon3xBBB''s comments, shame you didn't go to a "proper" Triumph Dealership
who would have sorted it out for you, saved you those £££'s,
and would not have resulted in you switching to another Make.

This is probably one of the reasons why Triumph are tightening up on their Dealerships.

Take care - whatever you ride  :028:
