Triumph trophy se service intervals
« on: February 19, 2016, 10:17:47 am »
Some clarification please!
In the service manual it states 10,000 mile or one year. Does this mean i need carry out only a yearly service until the 10,000 miles achieved then have this service carried out (new air filter etc). Also im presuming i carry out the yearly service upto the 20,000 mile before that one is due?
Also do people think a yearly oil change is sufficient?
Any help would be appreciated

Regards

oil is cheap
I always change my oil before winter.
The rest do yearly or as the mileage comes up.

The quoted service interval is 10,000 miles OR 1 year. Whichever comes first. If after a year you have not done 10,000 miles there is a reduced 'annual' service as they call it which just covers the essentials like oil change. This is quite a quick service and much cheaper than the full service you would have at a 10,000 mile interval. This way people who don't do lots of miles every year can keep servicing costs sensible.
