erratic idel

so after my first long run to a top event, when i got home it was low on fuel 30 miles left. the idel was a bit erratic  runs fine may be down to throttle body ballance but has just had its 10000 mile sevice but poss it was missed?
assumption  is the mother of all f~~~ups

Try the following to complete a Manual Engine Management "Adaptation" :

  • Ensure the engine is COLD
  • WITHOUT TOUCHING THE THROTTLE, Start the engine
    and allow it to warm up until the Cooling Fan comes on.
  • Leave the engine to idle for a further 12 minutes.

Always possible with fuel that low there may have been some crud in the bottom of the tank.

Try what coconut says and fill with fuel from a good source and hopefully all will be good. If not, check for any error codes and then if bit sorted off to the dealer.
