Hello, I shall be picking my new Trophy up this coming Saturday (5th March).
I've spent the last couple of years with an Explorer & loved it, but I took 'er indoors to the NEC & we sat on a Trophy. Her words were " I like this, you should get one of these" so what else could I do?

I'm a complete Triumph Nut, I passed my test in 2000 & apart from a pile of bits in the corner of the Garage that is (was) a BSA trials special, every bike I have had has been a Triumph. I started off with a 1996 750 Trident, had that for a couple of years & then traded that in for a 2000 Sprint RS. That lasted for four years & then I fell in love with a 955 Daytona SE, I still have this & will never sell it. Next came a 2001 Bonneville, which was my 40th Birthday present to myself, it has been modified over the last 9 years & is now an award winning (Laxey Bike Show, Best British Classic!!) Cafe Racer. This is my second forever bike. In 2011 I had a Tiger 800XC, then the Explorer in 2014, looking forward to getting to grips with the Trophy now.

I'm also the Pack Leader for Peterborough RAT, so if anyone lives in the vicinity of Peatboghorror & want to join in our activities let me know.

anyway I've put a couple of quid behind the bar, so bottoms up  :821:

Welcome to the group. She really let you no choice in the matter. You had to buy it!
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.
