I just got an email from Knight Designs.......pegs are available. I have these on another bike and they are nice. Just ordered a set and my legs are thanking me already  :028:

    What is your inseam?

I have 32 inch inseam and sometimes wish the pegs were higher.  I find myself on my tip toes when on a long ride.

I wish someone would make a mount for the current pegs that allows them to be moved around a little bit.

My inseam is 35" , 6'2" tall. Just ordered 1" handle bar risers also. Next a Russell Day Long and I'm done with ergonomics I hope.

After you gentlemen install these lowering pegs could you post how to lower the shifter and brake pedal and how easy it was?   :183:

Pictures would also be helpful for us of limited mechanical experience.   :125:

    Thanks

The shifter adjustment is behind the plastic panel where your left ankle is.  I know this as the bike was set up with the shifter too low.  I can't speak to the brake side as I haven't had to adjust it yet.

Let us know how they work out.  I'm a little disappointed there's no rubber pad on top.  Not sure it's that big a deal since there's not much vibration from this glorious bike.  Please post a report on how they are compared to the factory pegs.

    Thanks!!

Jesse64, I almost guarantee you won't miss the rubber covering. Your boot will grip the surface and you'll feel you have better control/feel. I've run bare pegs for years and like the precise feel they give. But like everything else, it's a personal thing.
