:400: to the forum.  Use the search function and look for "Lust", and you will find multiple posts about lowering the Trophy.  If you are in the UK, you may try to find a US low seat for sale without resorting to lowering links.  If it is in the US you may be able to find and economical shipping method.  At least one member has bought one recently and had it shipped there.  :821:

    Hi Steve,

     :400:

I lowered my rear suspension using the Lust lowering kit.   I also put the after sales lower Trophy seat on. together they made just under two inches difference.  it don't sound much but it really did help.   I have recently ridden a standard bike and remembered just how high the seat was.   Shame you are not near London as you could have come to my place and used my lifting table etc.

Hi Steve gaylor and :400: to the Club.

There's a ( used ) Low Seat for sale ( not the heated version )
right now on eBay in Sheffield for £45.00 + £8.90 postage,
and the Seller will also consider "offers"  :
Triumph Trophy 1200 Lowrider seat used in exellent condition

.... Could make a nice ride out on your new Trophy to pick it up,
and save the Postage charge if the seller would allow this ?  :152:

    Cheers  :821:

Sounds a bit drastic having to get NEW mates;  I'm sure your love the bike and the forum, hopefully the new mates too!
