Hello from a new member!
« on: March 29, 2016, 03:04:32 pm »
I just put down a deposit in a brand new metallic black Trophy SE with top box, alarm, heated grips, GPS bracket and Garmin 660 cradle from Two Wheels Triumph in Edinburgh, Scotland. I collect about mid April. Trading in a 2010 BMW R1200RT SE with all the bells and whistles. Nice to ride but the BMW had major problems with the finish deteriorating despite care. Also problems developing with calipers and discs, final drive, wheel bearings, switchgear and some other issues. Expensive! Looking forward to the Triumph and sharing information with other members. Thanks for having me on board!

Welcome to the forum, Bassg, and I hope the wait is not too long... They're good guys at Two Wheels, and I wish you many happy miles and good service  :152: Now if only our weather will clear up.

Seems like a litany of early problems on the BMW bassg. Welcome, and we look forward to hearing your comparison between the bikes.

Hi Bassg and welcome to the forum :400: There seem to be a number of Bring My Wallet owners ditching their RT's with a similar list of issues. Enjoy the new ride.
