Audio definitely works.  I have used my iPhone 5 via USB.  You can setup the audio system to scroll through playlists.

As for GPS direction, you may have to use Bluetooth.  That works as well on the iPhone via Bluetooth.

Around town I've been running it via bluetooth (flawless) but on a long run I'll us USB to charge it.
Now I need to find some good replacement speakers and an amp.

I have my iPhone 5 plugged into the USB in the left hand 'luggage locker' for music. The stereo controls work find to get to the music I want but generally I just have it on shuffle!.

For GPS I have a Garmin Zumo 660 hardwired into the bike audio system via the standard input.

The output for both goes to my Autocom L1 system which has a bluetooth module in it and is also connected to a bike to bike Kenwood radio. then it is a physical cable upto the helmet headset. All in all it works exceptionally well.

Only problems. Firstly, not the bikes fault, iPhone doesn't have auto answer. I hear calls coming in, it rings away merrily, but becasue you have to hit the accept button to take the call no f :172: g good! If anyone knows a solution to get an iPhone to auto answer after a number of rings I will be very grateful!  :148:

Secondly, every now and then, especially after a short power interrupt, such as fuelling, the bluetooth link to the autocom seems to be forgotten and I can't hear anything over the headset. Need to power down and wait a few minutes. I don't know if that is a Trophy problem or an Autocom problem though!

If you jailbreak the iphone you can install an app which can do this.

Might as well as wish we had.

Thanks for that.... think I found them before but I really don't want to have to jailbreak the phone if I can help it.
