accessory outlet plug type??

Could someone please tell me what plug fits the accessory sockets? Is it the BMW type?

Yes its the little Powerlet connector.  All my BMW gear moved over just fine.

Note that there are two different types of "Socket" used ....

The one by the Rider's knee and the one for the pillion are slightly different and use a "Hella" DIN type plug,
whereas those in the Glove Box and Top Box ( Trunk ) are a "Cigar lighter" type.

Some Plugs come with a removable Adapter to allow a DIN Plug to be used in a Cigar socket,
but without the adapter, if you connect a DIN Plug into a Cigar socket it will be loose  :169:

Yes, you should be able to buy an adapter on line or at a Triumph or BMW shop.

Has a male DIN plug (popular on European motorcycles) to a US female cigarette lighter outlet

 Allows you to use your standard US cigarette lighter male plugs on European bikes
