I have added LED lights and have had them mounted to the fender bolt with nylon spacers, but did not think they felt solid enough.  I moved them to under the headlights and really liked the location, almost hidden, but did not think it was the best location for visibility as there is not much separation from the headlight.

I noticed that the top fender attachment point does not feel as solid as the lower.  If you reach behind the lower attachment point feels a bit more heavy duty.

I came across some different mounting standoffs and thought that they might work and be significantly more solid.  I like the fact that to get the led light bracket tight I don't have to risk cracking the plastic fender.

They mounted up very solid and I was able to use the extra button head fender bolt to secure the LED bracket to the standoff.  Anyway, just an idea for others looking for solid mounting solutions.
