Triumph Trophy 1200 Factory Special
« on: April 21, 2016, 02:33:11 pm »
Hello. I've seen a 15 plate factory special for sale at £10,495.00. It's less than 12 months old with only 800 miles on the clock, FSH included with some extra's thrown in. Do you guys think this is a good buy at the price? :187:

Seems about right but it depends what you want.

As far as I know the "Factory Special" was a  Limited production model ( 20 ? )
based on the Standard model that has been discontinued in favour of the SE Model.

What made it "Special" over the Standard Spec. was the inclusion of Heated Rider & Pillion seats,
Top Box and it's Sliding Carriage Mount, Sat Nav Mount and maybe the Sat Nav too.

There's a separate topic discussing the differences between the Standard and SE models here :
Trophy or Trophy SE

Cheers  :821:

I have a 15 plate "Factory Special". It is as Coconut says, the standard model (A1) with heated grips & seats, a top box and a Garmin Zumo Satnav with mount. Most items were fitted at the factory, with the exception of one, the identity of which escapes me. When I bought mine in March 2015 it was advertised at over £12k, but negotiation bought that down to just under £11k.
