FYI.  Pirelli makes an "A" spec and a "V" spec in the Angel GT and the Angel GT ll, and the difference is the "A" spec tire is for heavier machines and has a 2 ply reinforced sidewall.  They also make two weight ratings 73 and 75, and two speed ratings W and V.  The older "D" spec Angel GT was the OEM tire for the Ducati Multistrada and is still available.  Revzilla shows to have just about every Pirelli Angel tire that is the right size for the Trophy in stock.  I put Angel GT "A" spec tires on my K1600 when I had it and they felt pretty good.  I've had the factory ST's on the Trophy, and Michelin PR's, and am currently riding on an Avon Storm 3D-XM rear (due to the rear PR getting ruined), and I like it the best so far with 5000 miles on the rear and looking like it will easily go 10,000 or maybe even 12,000.
