Find the filter
« on: May 25, 2013, 03:23:23 AM »
Not wanting to torpedo BP's thread about undressing the bike, here goes  :086:

I've read the owner's manual a couple of times, looked at where to find the oil filter and how I'd go about changing it. Can't find it on the bike, or where to get at it.  :148:

You don't need to remove any part of the fairing. It is actually reasonably accessible.  Just need to be on your hands and knees while on the right side of the bike. It is easier to get to than the filter on my 955ST.

Left side as you sit on the bike.  I've always understood that in describing a bike one refers to it as one looks at it facing it from the front.  So in this case on the right.

W8d4it "waited for it". If you go back to his original post, he ordered the bike, and had to wait for it for a while to arrive at the dealers.

How's that M8?
