Does anyone know what the max size is for the memory stick?  1-2-4-8-16-32-64-128 Gb oe more.  Can't find the documentation anywhere.

At least personal experience would help.  Don't want to buy something that's too big and won't work.

Hi oakville,  I'm guessing this might be for a Sat Nav ?, if so,  when I once tried to update my Garmin 660 maps and software,  it indicated insufficient  space left on the device.   :187:    I contacted Garmin,  who advised that a 8gb would be more than sufficient  ( and minimum recommended ),   but a 16gb would obviously be better,  as gradually these updates seem to be taking up  more space each time there is a `new release'.

Garmin customer Services also suggested deleting all the   ( in my case )  non English files on the device,  in particular the `Help' files and `Voices'  and sure enough this freed up enough space for the last `update' .    I did a backup first though, just in case,   but have had no problems thus far.  So if we are  talking Sat Nav's a 16gb should be ample for most units.

Garmin also suggested having a couple of cards to `alternate' for updates in the event you need to reload a previous version for some reason.   But if for the `TT's USB port I am using a 32gb for my music   and that's for loads of stuff with more space left than I will ever use,
    Regards,
     Steve    :821:

The Audio Manual does not specify the maximum size
of a USB Memory Stick that the system will recognise,
so may I suggest you ask your Dealer to find out for you,
or alternatively send an email to after.sales@triumph.co.uk and ask them,
then post the results here for the benefit of others ?

    Cheers  :821:

My mini iPod is 16gb which is plenty for a tour and more, anything bigger will take longer to read and might start skipping

I have sent an e-mail to triumph after sales customer service and got an e-mail with a case number and saying they will get back to me.  I will let you know when I know.  Thank you to Coconut for the suggestion and I hope we get the answer soon.
