    is there a way to tell if a bike has the stock heated seat just by looking at it in pics? looking to buy  trophy used.

     No the seats look the same if they are the low ride seat . You may be able to see the switches left side right below seat about middle of seat on the plastic panel. passenger switch right side next to grab bar.

    so if it has the switch its heated. did triumph use a plug on the body work of standard seat bikes? sometimes people don't describe there bikes well. re all se bikes heated seats?

     yes there would have been a blank if no oem switch heated seats are a option

    The blank snap in plug is black plastic, so it may well be very hard to tell without a close up picture of the side cover.

    On my OEM Heated seats, front and back, the word "Heated" is printed on the little exposed tags on the left side of the seats, right under the word Triumph.

    Heated Seats were fitted to the "Launch Model" but are now an "extra" on subsequent models
    costing 495 +1 Hour Labour for fitting wenj ordered with a new Trophy !
