I've never had a motorcycle key with a chip in it. In the past, I've just cut the rubber off one and stored the flat spare key in my wallet. Can't do that with a chip hidden in the rubber, but still want to have a spare with me when traveling. Also in the mix, the manual warns to not keep the keys together or they will interfere with the sensor's reading.
So, where on the bike can I hide a spare key, away from the headstock and accessable without tools?
