    Done!

Well, Concours is gone and I am now the proud owner of a 2016 TTSE, Phantom Black!

The wife decided she didn't want to put more money into valves and tires so she said to go for it!

The bike has heated grips and I ordered the top box with back rest, comfort seats, tank bag, extended windscreen and GPS (Garmin Zumo 390) with the mount.

Rode it home last night and new right away I made the right choice! I'm telling you right now...power won't be an issue! That was my biggest concern but there were some decent throttle twists on the way home and that thing scoots! I'm pleasantly surprised but the responsiveness of the bike and the 'roll-on', smooth power delivery! I will have ZERO issues with the difference in the C14 power to the Trophy's power...very happy, very satisfied!

Now that the power issue is settled I can concentrate on the comfort the bike offers! Holy cow, I can't believe how nice it is to ride and not 'lean' into the bars the entire time! I was barely holding the grips as I rode and the bike was so steady, stable, well balanced and smooth! I was seriously concerned that I wouldn't care for the 'relaxed' riding position but after a 45 mike ride home and the 40 miles to work this morning I am 100% converted (remember, all I've ever owned were sport bikes)!

I love the features, love seeing that I have 150-ish miles left until empty at 1/2 a tank (the Concours was still on full when there was a 150 miles left!), just love the bike in general...very happy!

I financed a little more than I wanted but my goal is to keep it for a good 7 years before moving on, longer if the bike is doing well so I'm committed to the bike and know that I will get tons and tons of miles and enjoyment out of the bike.

It's strange because all I've ever owned are Kawasaki bikes so it's still kind of 'surreal' thinking I'm now the owner of a Triumph...who'd a thunk it :086:?

I look forward to being a part of the Trophy group and hope to meet a lot of you on the road over time! Thank you for all your support coming into this and look forward to learning and sharing with all of you :821:!

    Mike

Haha...not a toy for me buddy! I'm on the bike everyday! I rode my C14 pretty much every day and will continue doing so on the Trophy...it's my main transportation. That's how I sold it to the wife anyway :007:!

Nice looking bike, did you see my Farkle video?

Mine too is the all black but I made the cooling ducts blue to highlight them a bit. Another must is the paint protection kit. Here:

    Enjoy your new ride Mike.
