Couple of questions from the Newbie
« on: May 26, 2016, 09:48:31 pm »
I have a couple of questions that I hope can be answered by someone here...should be pretty simple.

Seat - How are you keeping the seat clean? Just wiping down with a damp cloth?

Bar ends - Anyone know the torque value for the bolts securing the bar-ends? I want to add 'Grip-on" foam grips and am guessing that I will need to remove the bar-ends while installing.

Handle Bars - I am going to mount my RAM mount using the 'bridge' or bracket (ordered it from maPLE) that uses the 2 Handle Bar bolts closest to the rider. Any idea what the torque specs are for those handle bar bolts? The torque spec might be listed in the instructions of the package, which I'm still waiting for, so I'm asking...just-in-case!

Thanks!

Mike

My bottom wipes seat most of the time and don't worry about torque specs on something so minute .

I don't think handle bar bolts are something to take lightly...I would think they'd be pretty important!!?? Everything on my C14 had a torque spec!

3 Nm is the torque value for the end weights, 26 Nm for the handlebar to brace bolts.  0.74 Ft Lbs per Nm (rounded)
