HELP. SPEAKER CONNECTORS
« on: May 30, 2016, 12:52:10 am »
Does anyone know where to purchase those tiny little plastic connectors that triumph uses to connect the speaker wires
A nasty weather day riding is still better than any day working

Do you have a Photo of them ?

I think they are miniature push on spade terminals, but there are different sizes available,
although the actual connnections are housed in what appears to be a bespoke mouding
that clips onto the speaker body to prevent it shaking loose.

They "might" be 2.8mm ( just guessing ) in which case try Amazon.com
fo something like this : Uxcell 2.8mm Female Spade Connectors ( Solder on )
or this : Lucksender 2.8mm Female Spade Terminals ( Crimp On )

If you can Photograph them - preferably agaiinst a Ruler,
your local Radio Shack may be able to help.

Alternatively, the complete Sub Harness can be purchased from World of Triumph,
and other authorised Triumph Dealers, Part Number PFKL2304437 at GBP 12.12. each.
( Triumph Part Number = T2505842 )

I seem to recall when I did the speaker hack for the audio out this was discussed on that speaker hack thread and for some reason it was a bespoke type of connector....

You might need to get moth male and female connectors of a standard type and replace at both ends.
