Well guys with almost 5k miles on the Corbin, I have came to the conclusion, it really sucks! I can only ride a couple hundred miles before the pain sets in. I believe they designed it wrong, I think it is made to have your butt all the way back in the seat which I don't do because then I would be leaning forward.

My previous 3 bikes eachl had a Corbin and I could ride all day without issues.

So now I am looking for alternative seat makers but really leaning toward RDL with the Sunbrella Canvas.

Which Corbin?  There are 5-6 different models for the R3.

I have the DualTour and find it quite comfy, even on my IBA rides.

It's the Dual Tour, I think it is the only one offered by Corbin for the TTSE.

good grief.  I thought that I was still on the Rocket forum.  Sorry.

My Day-long is scheduled for 6/17.  Getting the Sunbrella insert, too.

Yeah,I don't get sore like the stock seat, but I think that it's too firm and you sit back too far. On that note I've used a lot of leather conditioner to soften up the leather, then I put on  one inch risers on the bars,That set up seems to work well.

I have the Corbin and it works well for me but...when I first got it it was way to high and the rise was too far back.  I contacted them.  They had me get some pictures of me on the bike then send the pictures and the seat back.  They remade it and it fits me perfectly.  I sit all the way back in the bucket and it was lowered to the stock seat height.  I can understand if you don't sit all the way back it would be pretty awful.  Their approach of sending their version of the seat first doesn't work for the TTSE.  It probably does for a lot of other bikes.

I had a corbin on my last bike,,,,for about a month.  I don't need assistance in growing hemorrhoids.  I tried a Russell day long on my TTSE  wings too wide and way too far off theground  and I have a lowering kit installed.  I tried a Kontour custom,, YEAH BABY !!  Very cool in the heat, has best circulation of any seat ever owned. and they were able to keep the seat height within reason while adding extra padding
A nasty weather day riding is still better than any day working

I have the Corbin w backrest too. Had to modify backrest a bunch to get it forward enough to be useful but my bottom could not take seat for long before being sore. Added the air hawk R and it's great.
