The Trophy uses old Bluetooth firmware. Not all new Bluetooth headset systems are "backwards compatible" far enough to pair properly. Chances are your Triumph Bluetooth is functioning just as it should, in its dated way. Unfortunately.
I am a SENA user that is dead in the water until SENA puts out a firmware "upgrade" for my headset.
Good luck.
I have a Midland BTX1FM Headset and I have issues with the sound cutting in and out. It was annoying before so I updated to the latest firmware from Midland and now it's worse to the point of useless.
Worse still there is no link on the midland site to download earlier firmware versions
I know it's a triumph firmware issue because I have no problems if I just pair my iPod BT direct to the headset
Why can't triumph give us an option to update the BT firmware on the trophy or maybe you can but I just didn't know
I have contacted midland to see if I can get access to earlier firmware versions to see if that helps
Very frustrated right now
