Can anyone give me a hint as to where the bluetooth antenna is located on the bike,,? Like to check if the connections are OK, as I experience droputs both from the radio and the headsets,Scala Rider.

As far as I know the antenna is fairly inaccessibe, built into the Audio pack,
which is underneath the storage box, under the rider's seat.

There have been similar problems recently with Sena products.

Have you seen the Posts about Sena preparing new Firmware for various models
that should address connection probems to the Trophy Bluetooth system ?

I'm wondering if maybe Cardo have ( or had ? ) a problem with the Firmware in their Scala headsets too -
so if you haven't already done so, I'd check to see if there are any Firmware updates available
for your Rider - the latest Version appears to be Version 3.2  :028:

I have a Schuberth system that is made by Cardio.  After I did a software update about a year ago the cutting out is almost non existent.
I suggest you make sure you are updated as Coconut suggests.

The Trophy uses old Bluetooth firmware. Not all new Bluetooth headset systems are "backwards compatible" far enough to pair properly. Chances are your Triumph Bluetooth is functioning just as it should, in its dated way. Unfortunately.

I am a SENA user that is dead in the water until SENA puts out a firmware "upgrade" for my headset.

Good luck.

I have a Midland BTX1FM Headset and I have issues with the sound cutting in and out. It was annoying before so I updated to the latest firmware from Midland and now it's worse to the point of useless.

Worse still there is no link on the midland site to download earlier firmware versions

I know it's a triumph firmware issue because I have no problems if I just pair my iPod BT direct to the headset

Why can't triumph give us an option to update the BT firmware on the trophy or maybe you can but I just didn't know

I have contacted midland to see if I can get access to earlier firmware versions to see if that helps

Very frustrated right now :020:

On the next Iteration of the Trophy.... If they keep the audio they really need to provide an easily accessible hard wired audio out!

All this trouble with the various Bluetooth headsets just convinces me of that
