A new Heated Grip Kit would be supplied with connectors for both Grips,
so the throttle grip in your picture has the connector missing.

The kit also includes 2 x M4 x 10mm screws for securing the left hand grip.
( The original screws should be retained for use if the original nonheated grips ever need to be re-fitted ).

Depending on your Trophy, you may also need a "Shorting Plug" which enables the Instrument Panel icons.

You can download the installation instructions from here : Triumph Instructions.com -
Enter the part number A9638088 and select tour Language.

    Cheers  :821:

Thanks, Coconut. I plan to pick up some of the screws and a universal connector that I can cut and splice to make it work.

Yeah, any two pin connector will work. You can even butt connect the wires if you don't feel like buying the connectors; they never come apart unless you take them off the bike for some odd reason.

Thanks, AZBob.  Seller offered me a full refund but I'm going to try to make these work first.  I've studied the shop manual and the heated grip instructions, but for the life of me I can't locate where the heated grip connectors are located on the bike.  Last dumb question today I promise.   :157:

Triumph sell the plastic plugs (connectors) separately.  Only a couple of $ each.  But it may be difficult to find the brass end clips for the wire to go into the connectors.

No dumb questions. They're just in front of the left storage box; you have to take that off. One screw you can see, the other is inside the box, so you have to open the box (with the ignition on). Don't close the box once you have it off or it will be a bit of a pain to get it open again (you'd have to hook it up to power and turn the ignition on).
