Can the service miles be reset by owner without any special tool.

You do need something to do it but it can be done at home.

Cheapest option I am aware of is the Dealertool device. Search for it, there have been a number of group buys over the years. Maybe time to approach Dealertool to see if they will offer another one!

Isn't the Android version of TuneECU the cheapest?

I know some Members ( I'm not one of them ) have tried TuneECU,
but having just looked looked at their Web Site compatability list which states,
"TuneECU can only be used on the following models", the Trophy is still not listed,
with the latest compatable motorcycle haviing been added to the list in March 2016.

Unless any TuneECU users can comment further,
I would double check with the Company before committing to a purchase  :028:

Yes it is. I have use BAFX ELM327 Bluetooth OBD 2 CAN V1.5 for almost two years without issues.

I will suggest that you stick with the reliable BAFX to make sure is the right version. Only v1.4 or v1.5 would work with the Trophy

I'd be interested to hear exactly what the Android system could do on the Trophy,.......could it come in real handy whilst on tour, just when I won't have space for a laptop/Dealertool I'm thinking. :084:
