I know you'll have a great time, look forward to seeing your write-up :002:

One tip, unless you already know - don't buy your Swiz "16" road tax [about 40 euros] until you get to the boarder.

got back last weekend but work has taken over my time this week, so this how it went on my trip.first day as always in france lots of autoroutes, stayed in nanncy overnight nice town with a very impessive town squre then on to nantra, town in the mountains with a lovely lake day three is when the good ridding starts and the first of the passes.col du galibier then on to col du mt cenis followed by col du l'lseran with lunch at val-d;lsere then on to col du pit st burnard to the hotel in aosta.day 3 col du grand st bernard then in to switzerland this was our first mistake not to buy a motorway pass as swiss drivers will not go over 20mph in towns and make it very hard for you to pass wasted about 3 hours getting to the swiss mountains and our 4th hotel in ulrchen.got there at lunch time had a bite to eat and put luggage in the rooms so we could have a good ride out but got to say did not notice the difference as the active suspension is great so the afternoon ride was nufenen pass on to st gothard pass then my mate dropped his mullti strada turning around just lost his footing just a graze to the bike its just so easy to do.so then on to the fuka pass when we had the first and only rain we would have, we were only 10 min from hotel so not a problem.5th day a ride over the nufenen pass then down to lake maggiorie to meet up with the girls for 3 days in cannero riviera stunning hotel.then the ride home was a stop in beaune overnight then home. as for the bike its just great at doing this sort miles and very happy with it ,did have the full seat on but think i will use the lower one with a air hawk next time.have lots of camera action will post on youtube when i get time and put a link up.total miles of 2200 this years trip.
