Still kicking the tires...
« on: July 06, 2016, 08:31:27 pm »
Hello All,
The site encourages a greeting to others so here is my hello.  I live in the Florida panhandle.  Iím not a Trophy owner yet but itís good to see all the posts and information here.  :002: I have been reading here on and off since I read about the Trophy in the consumer news.  Finally, I decided I needed to speak with a few people so I joined to send a few PMs.  Thanks for the folks that have answered my inquiries already.
The reason I wanted to speak with folks directly is because my daily rider is a Kawasaki C10.  The bike is running great, is very dependable and donít miss a beat.  Since both bikes have been built for awhile now Iíve been contemplating upgrading the concours to a C14 or a Trophy so I have been collecting info and asking a lot of questions and reading a lot of posts & webpages.  :084: One thing that remains is actually going for a test ride when one becomes available.   Iím in no hurry and the research has been interesting and fun.  Iím sure Iíll ask more questions so thanks for the forum and resources.
Waitin' for my ride!

Hi duckman, and :400: to the Forum !

I would suggest that it might be better to post any questions you have as a New Topic
in a relevent section, for all ( 2285 ) Members to see, rather than sending a PM to individual Members.

You should then get a much broader range of comments on which to base any decisions  :169:

Taking a Test Ride is probably the best thing you can do though -
that in itself will answer MANY questions  :152:

Cheers  :821:

:400: to the forum.  One of our new forum members just came from the C14 after test riding a Trophy a couple of times.  Take them both out and go with the one that suits you best, and enjoy the ride.  :821:

Mr Duckman,

Welcome. Take both for a test ride. It will certainly help you make up your mind.

Most here would confirm that the Trophy is a very reliable bike, fun to ride, with abundant power.

Let us know how you make up.
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.
