    Hi folks 😊
As I rest in a prone position in an ibis hotel in Hiedelberg ( on our way (with me ballast) oops wife from our holls 16 days ncle to Italy to Austria and 6 days in Switzerland .. and whilst the Tiger 1050 is a DAMN good bike and loaded to the bollox with ARD cases and top box and stuffy sacks .
We have decided to return to the tourer market .. have owned in the past Fjr 1300 immediate upgrade to a hyperpro shock 600 quid and despite several seat upgrades and 60k miles in 3 yrs it had to go .. also had a Sakofcakky GTR 1400 .. nuf said ... so we are staying with the Triumph brand .. it does what is says on the tin 😊
So from A VERY warm WoOk and Mrs WoOk .. (it's 42degs here and a bitch on the autobahns lol) Yooohoooo and Hello 😊😊😈

Hi Wookie, welcome  :401:,  I  have  a 1050 Sport which is, a good Bike,  but for `touring' ,  its definitely no match for the far better suited `Trophy',  take a `test ride'  ( and your Credit Card... :028: )   :821:

    Welcome to the forum!
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

    Welcome

Back in November I went from my 2008 Tiger 1050 ABS to my Trophy , I found a new 2014. It took me about four months to finally make up mind before I bought it.
I have very high level of respect for the Tiger 1050 and enjoyed it very much.
But I was traveling more long distances, and the Trophy just does it so well.
I still ride with a group of 1050 owners though the Trophy is larger it's  easy to keep up.
