    Lean Angles of the Trophy

Has anyone measured the lean angle limits of the TTSE left and right? I owned my Trophy for over a year before scraping pegs (aka wearing down the ole hero blobs, shaving off chicken nubs, and some other salty analogies), but on this last trip I leaned the bike over so far that I experienced what you see in the picture (no, not the non-existent chicken strips, look at the muffler). :114:

Frankly, I consider this a new badge of learning: I was demonstrating (I think) inadequate body leaning -- considering my speed and the curve dynamics, my body should have been leaning more so the bike would have been more upright.

Either way, I'm curious whether anyone knows the approximate lean angle limits on the Trophy. Thanks.

I have a built-in device that puckers up long before I would scrape a muffler.   :002:

I would be interested in know the lean angle degrees also.

Ok, here is what I came up with, I looked at my photo from Deals Gap and put an angle finder tool on the pic and came up with 50 degrees. I was not touching foot pegs yet but was really close. I know it is not exact but fairly close.

I know a stock Wing has 40* of lean. I measured my heavily modified suspension Wing pic and came up with 45* and I know the Trophy has more than it did.

Darn now I feel like a pussy.  No chicken strips on rear tire but front still does.  Those are sweet pics

The actual lean angle is directly proportional to the size your nuggets.
Plgoddard and OhioWinger have some big brass ones!  DANG!!
    Those are really impressive pictures.
It's a little unnerving seeing the sand like material coming up off your back tire on the trophy pic, and it appears there is very little rubber touching the road on the wing.

I thought I was kicking ass on my Trophy last week in a series of many nice turns.  After seeing these pics, I now feel like I was nowhere near the limit taking into account my tire condition (new), temperature (hot), road surface and speed.
If I did something like that on my Trophy, I may have to change my shorts.

    Great pics!
