Hi all,

My name is RTRider,

Yes I currently ride a 2012 BMW R1200RT.  The reason I joined is my brother in law and his best friend just bought new Trophy 1200's here in SE Michigan.  They are just getting back into riding after kids and I want to help them enjoy and farkle their rides.  They got great deals from the local Powersports dealer in Ann Arbor, MI.

So a big HELLO to all as I hope to learn a bit about the bike.

I'm often in Ypsi. I belong to the Ford Motorcycle Club (www.fordmotorcycleclub.org; shameless plug as its VP ), and we often get over that way -- since, as you no doubt know, roads in SE MI, especially in the tri-county area, s u c k.

Let me know when your BIL & Buddy -- you know, the ones with the better motorcycles are in the area -- feel free to PM me. First round's on me (Sidetrack is one of my favorite spots).

Thanks to all for the warm welcome to the forum (all kidding aside)  .  Right now my BIL and buddy are still crushed time wise with work, kids but I will let them about this forum and I am looking forward to a full test ride of both their bikes.

By the way Big D my buddy does work for Ford.

  RT.    The R1100/1150/1200RT was/is a wonderful machine, rode them since 96 thru 2014.   But whatever you do don't switch bikes with you BIL or the other guy, you won't want to give the TTSE back
