My Trophy broke twice in 5000 miles, I shut it off at the gas pump and it went dead, it went to the dealer last week and Triumph doesnt have a clue what's wrong

My guess is a wire pulled out near the ignition switch. Happened to a buddy of mine in Sparks, NV with his TTSE.

    it went dead

Can you describe that in more detail ?

If there was absolutley NO power to anything, no indications on the Instrument Panel,
then it could be a wire pulled out of the Ignition switch, that other Members have suffered,
or it could also be something as simple as a loose battery connection, though I would have thought
that would be one of the first things the Dealer would have checked.

If there ARE indications of Power on the Instrument Panel, but she just wont start,
then there's a whole list of things that could be wrong, including wire(s) pulled off the Ignition switch,
wire come adrift from the Starter Solenoid, and many more.

Hopefully your Dealer will speak to Triumph UK Tech, and will soon have it sorted - keep us posted  :169:

Happened on my 2013 model a couple of months ago. Dealer serviced bike so I put it to Triumph this should not happen during the life of the machine. They paid for the repair even though I was a year and a half out of warranty. Downside is, I now have 2 keys

Oh crap.  I was looking forward to getting away from all the ignition switch troubles on the Rocket and now you're telling me the Trophy has them too?   :087:
