    Bummer.  I had high hopes for this helmet.  I hope someone buys and does something with the IP.

    So, what happened to the other $2.2MM (the lawsuit only lists about $250k of expenses). I dunno, I work in technology -- we're expensive. $2.5MM isn't a whole lot of engineering money, honestly. For the two years they were in business, that's only about 5-7 engineers' salary, disregarding other expenses.

    AZBob, you're right that 2.2M is not a lot of money...unless of course you're not actually doing any real R&D and are not employing anyone else....in that case 2.2M is a very nice salary for 2 years of not doing much.  :002:

    You can't say they didn't do any R&D because they actually did deliver a few working helmets. There are a couple of YouTube videos of reviews of them.
