    Newbie to Triumph

Hi all, will be picking up my new 2014 leftover Trophy tomorrow. With all the reading and research I have been doing I believe I made the right choice with this bike. Never had anything like it before, coming off of a Victory Vision that I sold earlier this year and bought a BMW convertible thinking that would be enough.  NOT!  I miss riding, until tomorrow. Think I got a very good price as well, and a $2000 parts/accessories voucher to boot. Gonna order a top case at pickup. Also I want to install a gps, what do you all feel is the better setup?  Thanks for any help and I'm sure I'll be on here to get educated.

Hi Don.... Welcome and congrats on a great choice! :400:

GPS wise I would recommend the Garmin sumo 595LM... I have the slightly older 590 and its great.

Hi Don and :400: to the Club !

There's plenty of infoormation in here ( almost too much ! ) about Sat Nav devices and fitting them,
so have a play with the "Search" button and you'll find plenty to read up on  :169:

These topics will also help :

HOW TO: Fitting Triumph Sat Nav Mount & Zumo 660

HOW TO: Remove the fairing ......

    Cheers  :821:

Don, Welcome. Get away from the flatlands of Chicago and ride that beast!
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

:400: to the forum.  I don't have mine on the factory mount, and from what I've seen as far as mounting options, the factory mount is by far the superior placement no matter which unit you use.
