Which brand of engine oil are you using?

I must admit, I've been a fan of Castrol oils for years now, used their products in all our vehicles for years now, never had any internal engine problems as such. I gather that Triumph actually recommend that we use this brand any how, where are you guys buying it from? I use to live near a Costco store, they sold some Castrol's oil at a very good price.

When I bouhgt my Ex demonstrator, which had already had its 500 Mile service,
the Dealer had placed a "Castrol" sticker next to the filler.

I like both Castrol & Mobil 10W-40 synthetic 4T racing. Since Castrol 4T is all that's been in the TTSE, that's all she gets.

Agree with all the above - Triumph recommends Castrol 10W40 4T - why would I use anything else?

I'm always bemused by people who say "Well, I can't use the recommended type/spec/weight of oil because my WalMart or Tesco doesn't carry it!"

You only put oil in the thing once every 10,000 miles!    How "available" does it have to be?

Every oil in the world is available to you at discount prices - you punch a few keys on your keyboard, and later in the week an energetic young man in brown shorts jumps out of a non-descript brown truck at your VERY DOOR and hands you the oil!

At any rate, I use ENI 10W60 in my 8V Guzzi Stelvio like the book says, and Castrol 20W50 in my Norton and in my BSA twins like the book says, and Castrol 50W in my flathead BSA like the book says.   I'm not going to re-engineer things at my age ... !

I had used Bel-Ray EXS Full Synthetic Ester for 41k miles.

I use AMSOIL 10w40 full synthetic motorcycle oil but nothing wrong with the other brands either. They're all good.

I use amsoil as the castrol is not generally available in Canada.  Walmart import it from the USA but Wakefield, the Canadian Castrol does not import it.  So a single source for the Castrol with no real knowledge of stocking habits.  Not acceptable.  Amsoil is just a 5 minute drive and always has stock.

Isn't that a BP product? I used Red Line last time with all required ratings and at recommended weights, I drank that cool aid several years ago and like most any clean oil, Red Line has served me well and it's readily available for me just down the road.
    Motorcycles in my garage currently:
    2016 Triumph Trophy SE, 2015 Yamaha R1, 2014 Suzuki Vstrom 1K Adv

Now looking for something new for summer play.
