Heated grips on all SE's, NO!

I recall multiple magazines saying the SE came with heated grips standard but the heated seats were extra. My dealer though my bike had heated grips, after all is has the switch. Today was the firsy morning cool enough to give them a try (on way to 500 miles service) seemed to not be working. Tech. checked on laptop, also thinking it had heated grips, turns out it does not. Has anyone else bout an SE without grip-heat?
They also did not know the bike had linked-brakes. Seems Triumph has not bothered to give a class on the bike for dealers.

All SE's come with the switch installed on the left switchblock, but none come with the heater elements. I think most of us were probably surprised same as you (and disappointed).
I thought I read somewhere that the rear brake is a progressive link. Slight pressure gets you back brake only, heavier pressure brings on partial front brake. Have to go back to the manual and check.

I believe the launch models come with the heated grips. At least mine did.

I was told that mine had heated grips and fussed enough when it didn't for them to install them for free. They more than made it up on some of the other things I ordered extra (comfort seat, paint protection, tank bag). But it was a nice gesture on their part to fully cover their mistake.

My dealer is a good guy, I emailed him asking to convince Triumph to cover the cost, even the dealer thought it had them. All bikes I've seen where they were an option had a blank cover not a functioning switch.
