Evening all, new to the forum drinks on me  :038:

Picked up my new trophy this evening lovely bike though its going back tomorrow theres a quite violent knocking at slow speed (5mph) that I presume is coming from the shaft drive as its shoving me along and the bars are wobbling when I turn at slow speeds.  Not quite what I'd expect from a brand new bike.

    Anyways hi to all

    Mark

Hi Mark and welcome to a great Forum... Congrats on the great choice, sorry to hear you are experiencing a problem especially from the off. There have been 1 or two drive issues suffered by owners but no common issue and you will find that Triumph have been very proactive in sorting them, even to the extent of complete replacements.

Sure your dealer will get it sorted for you.

    Cheers Kevin

It's crazy on a 21 mile machine to have such a problem, I'm sure the dealer will sort it I'm not too worried.  Unfortunately as a motorcycle instructor slow riding and and teaching slow riding is a daily occurrence and it's pretty much impossible on this bike.

    Cheers

Hi marksadz and :400: to the Club !

Strange to have such a problem so soon - when the Dealer tells you what was causing it,
if it seems appropriate to do so, ask the why the issue wasn't picked up during the PDI.

Hopefully they will be embarrassed enough to offer you a Goodwill gesture
of some decent discount on accessories etc.  :028:

    Cheers  :821:

:400: to the asylum!  In my limited experience with Triumph shops, I've found they're definitely top notch and will get you taken care of.

Welcome, sorry to hear of the issue.

My experience is that as soon as the issue is diagnosed it will be sorted, however it does sound like a failing in the PDI.

    Enjoy your new ride.

    Dave
