    Euro Tour 2016

    Hi Guys,

my bike sits in the garage all packed and ready to role.  I'm on the afternoon ferry from North Shields to Ijmuiden on my way to the Euro Tour 2016.  I'm not participating but facilitating it so others can participate.

    Here is my SPOT link:

    https://spotwalla.com/tripViewer.php?id=121dd57c7e0e262d03&hoursPast=0&showAll=yes

I will also keep a blog on Track My Tour, and the link for that is:

    https://trackmytour.com/6QnlT?utm_source=shared-map&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=map

Neither will show anything until I post something from the ferry.

Why not virtually come along?  You will be welcome.  I have also attached my packing list (well I tired to but Excel Spreadsheets are not allowed - I'll take a picture of it), but have made a few amendments and plan on running through it at the ferry terminal.

Let me know if you are interested to hear about anything specific.  My first port of call will be the event start in Stuttgart, then the halfway 'Secret' hotel (wonder where that is?) on Monday night before we all head back to Stuttgart for the end Banquet and prize giving.

Come along, you'll be more than welcome.

    Love, light and kindness,

    Dave

PS Check out the bike used in the poster!

That's very organised having a packing list! I just put in enough socks, pants and t shirts to keep me going for a fortnight. A couple of pairs of convertible crag hopper trousers. Wash kit, phone, iPad, charging gear, portable hard disk to download dash cam footage and that's me good to go! LOL
Triumph Trophy! Not for every Tomaz, Dieter or Herman!🇬🇧

Safe Journey Dave. Yyou must have been a Boy Scout judging by the list!

    No Condoms?
The world is divided into 10 types. Those who understand the binary system and those who don't.

Well I know Condoms on a packing list have multiple uses but try explaining that to SWMBO!

Found out today you can't set cruise above 100mph?  I was getting in the way at only 100mph!  So had to hold it on all day but surprisingly good gas mileage 50.6 mpg.

Currently in Church of Bones, Sedlec Ossuary CZ. Euro Tour going great so far but it is early days. Secret Hotel tomorrow and I can divulge it is in Brno, CZ.

    LOVE, LIGHT AND KINDNESS

sorry did not mean to SHOUT.

Good on you Dave for helping to organise something like this and getting a Trophy on the poster.
I had to look up Zuuks - I'm a Sketcher person.
I guess long hours on a bicycle saddle are good preparation for an IBA rally.  :005:
Did any other bikes overtake you at 100mph+ ?
Lunch and drinks for 3 quid …..I will have to suggest to my better half that we venture of the tourist path in future.
Have fun, stay safe and keep taking the pills.  :152:
Life isn't a dress rehearsal so enjoy it.

I'm packed - the bikes loaded and I'm off to Corsica tomorrow!
It'll take a couple of days and a couple of ferry rides to get there, but I've heard that Corsica has great biking roads!
I'll let you know when I get back!
