    Couple of Q's Chaps!

    Hi all, have just picked up my TTSE today, and 300 miles in I am a very happy camper!  I have a couple of teething snags so any advice before I head back for first service in 2 days time very much appreciated;

Radio only appears to come thru the left hand speaker viewed from riders seat, I don't think there is a balance control, so has anyone had experience of this?

The indicators don't self-cancel is that by design or do I have to select that function in a menu somewhere?

Garmin 395 fitted by dealer, but they chose to hardware to the battery, I have read about power cable in left hand indicator pod, is that supply isolated with the key?  They have also not connected audio plug which I think is behind the headlight, can someone pse confirm?

    Best regards Mark

    Hi Mark and welcome.

You are right, no balance control. Do you get sound from both speakers with any sound source?

The indicators do self cancel and this setting is in the bike setup.

Yes, a clean, switched power supply with audio in is down just below the left indicator pod. They should definitely have connected your Garmin here.

    Hi Qwerty677,

Indicators can be set to Manual or Automatic, from within the BIKE SETUP Menu.

On "Auto" the Indicators the will self-cancel after 65 metres have been travelled and
8 seconds have elapsed. If the motorcycle is stationary the indicator will remain on.

The Power supply is NOT inside the left mirror pod......

If you have a look at this Topic : HOW TO: Fitting Triumph Sat Nav Mount & Zumo 660
at the First Page / First Post, and scroll down to the 12th Photo,
you will see where the dedicated "Clean" Power supply, and audio connections are hidden away.

These "can" often be accessed by removing the mirror surround panels,
but they are often taped tight to the loom on the frame and difficult to get at,
so you may need to remove the Fairing to get at them.

This is fairly straightforward, but will take a while until you get used to it.
Here's another Topic on HOW TO : Remove the Fairing .........

The Power supply is switched on when the Ignition is ON.

Many Members, as a result of information found in the Forum, have elected to fit an in-line fuse
in the Power Supply line to their Sat Nav, inside the mirror pod for easy access if the fuse should ever blow.

The Audio connection allows the Sat Nav audio output to be selected on the Trophy audio system.

Having paired phone to the bike for music streaming, it's clear the right hand speaker is inoperative.  Having not delved into what lies behind, does anyone have any first hand knowledge of the speaker connections?  My assumption is it could either be a wire adrift or a faulty speaker...

There's a fair bit of plastic to remove to get at the Speakers and their wiring.

There are connectors at the base of tubes that house the wires running to the speakers,
so one of those could be adrift ... much more information here : Hacking the bike speakers

( If your Trophy is still under warranty it would probably be better to get your Dealer to look at it. )

    Cheers  :821:

I managed to get to the connectors at the base of the tube without removing anything.   At least you should be able to feel if it is connected even if it is impossible to push the 2 halves back together.  You will be able to feel quite a large tube open at the bottom  with the connectors just proud of the hole.

With regard to the Garmin Power Socket, I have searched and searched and searched and have come to the conclusion that I don't hyave one; most likely as I have a Trophy and not an SE. I didn't expect to have an audio socket (no speakers) but would have expected an Power Socket.

Can anyone clarify this for me?
