    Uneven power

Hi, I have had a 63 plate SE for 3 months, and am loving it. However, it has an irregular problem I would love some help with. Power delivery can be uneven, stuttering, falling off especially at low revs or throttle not open far, and especially when riding on the 'cusp' or the throttle. It clears if I clutch in and blip the throttle, but generally comes back sometime later. It is distracting and annoying on the straight, but disconcerting when banked in a corner. Any ideas?

Could be throttle position sensor the early trophys had a recall to change the ecu and possibly the tps.  It was said they were susceptible to noise but I think it affected the ecu hence the change but others on here will clarify

I think this is more likely to be a problem with the Throttle Position Sensor,
but it's worth getting your Dealer to check to make sure that your Trophy
HAS had the ECU Safety Recall performed ( and any other applicable recalls / Service Bulletins ).

Whenever you have an issue like this it's always worth checking
to see if there are any DTC's ( Diagnostic Trouble Codes ) stored in the ECU,
which can indicate what's going / gone wrong.

You can display these DTC's on the Instrument panel without needing any additional kit.
Have a look at this Topic for instructions : Servicing Data, Reference Info. & DTC ( Fault ) Codes
At the foot of the Message titled "Diagnostic Trouble Codes ( DTC's ) / Fault Codes" you will find
a downloadable Word document listing the Codes and their meanings.

There's also a useful reference Topic here : HOW TO : Check the most common faults & issues.,
which is spread across 3 Pages listed subjects alphabetically  :028:

..... and there you were thinking you weren't a big fan of Owners Forums !  :153:

    Cheers  :821:

I have checked the fault codes and got a pleasing P0000. So the bike is now booked in for a full diagnostic test on 4 Oct. I will just have to live with it until then. I will report back.

It sounds to me like either there's a pinched fuel line or, more likely, the airbox isn't correctly mounted on the venturis. Both of which are easy to do when putting the gas tank back on and also easy to fix.
