    Hi guys,

just found the forum so registered as picking up a 2012 SE on Saturday. Trophy is intended as an all year round second bike as the other one gets shut away in November so it doesn't disintegrate over the winter :001: (it's American) so this one is replacing a 1300ST Pan which I've had for four years and clocked up 30K on. Hopefully I've chosen the right replacement but time will tell and looking through here there is a lot of good info to help keep it running and rack up some miles, may even catch up with some of you on the road.

    Al

Welcome to the forum. Good to have you on board.
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

Hi Panda and welcome to the club.  :400:

As yours will be one of the earliest, if you haven't already get down to your local Triumph dealer and get them to run the VIN in the system to make sure it has had any outstanding work done. There isn't much and I'm sure it will have been, but worth checking.

Main ones are an ECU change, essential and the other was a head change to combat excessive noise, highly recommended!

    Welcome Al,

I'm located between Nottingham and Loughborough so if you are over this way sometime maybe we could meet up.  I may also go to Lincoln Triumph for my next service, having been disappointed with my local dealer.  It would be useful to know how you get on with them, assuming you use them.

Welcome from another new-ish member. I've had my 2013 for 8 months now, it's intended purpose is a year-round commuter. So far, so brilliant.

Not too far away from you in Norfolk.
