I hit a pot hole two weeks ago, and bent front rim. It will be a total of about four weeks before I can get a rim from Triumph through the  dealer I am missing a lot of good riding days I wish we had better factory support to get parts.

    That is ridiculous.

I'd send a letter to John Bloor.

There is something about bike companies that think we have them just for fun when we actually NEED them.  I cannot imagine Toyota saying you can't have a car for four weeks.  Reminds me of a quote:

“For the want of a nail the shoe was lost,
For the want of a shoe the horse was lost,
For the want of a horse the rider was lost,
For the want of a rider the battle was lost,
For the want of a battle the kingdom was lost,
And all for the want of a horseshoe-nail.”

Have thought about E bay? They have rims on there on occasion. Expect to pay about $400.

I have tire and wheel protection so its all paid for . I believe Triumph should be able to stock a few extra parts for there bikes , come on its just a wheel ! I bought the bike new Dec. 24 2015 , I have over 10,000 mi.and  I have enjoyed the bike very much it is suppose to be part of my retirement package . to miss several weeks of riding for me is pretty tough since I like to ride everyday. I really don't want a second bike unless its a BMW 1600 GTL so I guess for now Ill wait and if it gets any worse Ill move on to a different bike with factory support . Thanks for letting me VENT now back to the park bench :017:

Strange it's gping to take that long.  The dealer screwed my wheel up this spring and ordered a new one. It was there in a few days.  I would send you my old one if it would help but from what I am told it's no good and probably wouldn't tide you over or be in any better shape than yours.  Mines still sitting at the dealership.

My buffoon of a dealer managed to damage 5 rims over the course of his 2 year torture period with me. Got new ones straight away. I believe Honda boasted that if you placed an order for a part for any of their bikes up to 10yrs old by noon, it will be at the dealers for 10am next day. May have changed a little, but good service. OH, did I say Honda there? Come on Triumph, you aren't at Meriden now.

    N3zrat,
.... so I guess for now Ill wait ...

Why not send an email to Triumph UK : after.sales@triumph.co.uk
explaining the problem and your frustration, and ask what, if anything, they can do to help -
that's what they are there for and it won't cost you a Cent to ask the question !  :028:

    Cheers  :821:
