What kind of range are you boys getting?

Fill the tank, drive at highway speed, select miles to empty, bingo  :152:

I did observe the mileage for one full tank.  With normal (for me) riding on highway, two lane, and lots of full throttle acceleration, I got about 260 miles before I stopped to fill up.  That's within the fuel range for this bike.  I could see getting 280 or better, maybe about the same if it was all highway.

Wow. That is impressive.
After having a couple of pukka tourers with good tank range, the MTS is a bit frustrating. My best so far is 180 miles - but it was a bit squeaky bum time toward fill up..

Also just short of 300 on motorway driving but felt the bike was gasping. I had been riding with plenty of throttle though. Perhaps with easier riding I could have got more. We'll never know.

One fuel stop from SoCal to NorCal is going to be great!

Roughly 300 but the reserve light comes on long before that.  Actually I find it irritating to be told I need fuel for 75-85 miles before I'm in any danger of running out.  Many of you probably remember the old days of the reserve petcock with maybe 20-25 miles to complete empty.  Well there must be a happy medium somewhere.
