Lowering link length?

I am looking for lengths of the Lust lowering links for a 2013 trophy compared to the Stock ones. Does anyone have a set they can measure? I have access to a plasma cutter and want to cut some out. I am thinking of testing 3/4" and 1 1/2" lower. Then I can put the heated seat back on and still reach the ground. Taking a trip up the Mississippi River through Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota next weekend and want the heated seat back on.

Why not just get the 1" Lust lowering links. They work great and are of stronger design than the OEM part. A few people here have bought Soupy's adjustable lowering links but I've read some sketchy things about them. I wouldn't recommend going more than 1 inch lowering unless you're prepared to also lower the front forks (a PITA) and modify the centre stand and side stand.

I would like to save the Money and I have access to  plasma cutter with a Professional operator. My post should have said I want to try 34" lower and 1 1/4" lower.

I have a set of Lust lowering links which I bought secondhand but haven't decided whether to fit.  (I have the heated seat but seem to be OK with the seat height as it is.)   The documentation with these links indicates that they lower the bike by 25mm (1") and it appears that they also do a 35mm set. The 25mm ones I have measure 140mm between hole centres and are made of approx 6mm thick steel.

Thanks again Fred. I got the parts back and they turned out great. At least as nice as the factory ones. It was actually a laser cutter they used. He made me 3 sets 1 inch lower and 3 that are 1 1/2 inches lower. I guess I have a couple spare sets now.

I just returned from riding over 1000 miles last weekend. It was a nice trip and the lower links I installed made it a great ride. The bike is much better for me with both feet flat on the ground at stops. Very happy with the parts I had made.

Excellent result - and 1000 miles certainly sounds like a good test.  Did you feel the need to make any corresponding adjustment to lower the front ride height by unclamping and repositioning the forks?  In theory dropping just the back will change the steering geometry a little, but probably not a big enough difference to worry about if it still feels OK.  How is the centre stand - any big difference in getting it on and off the stand?
