Hello from Ohio.  I added a Trophy to my life a couple of months ago to keep the Bonnie company.  I picked up a left over 2015 black Trophy SE and then came home to tell my wife what I did.   :002:  She was pretty accepting considering she doesn't ride and can't understand why I need more than one bike.  With that "endless summer" deal I was able to add a top box, heated grips, pannier inner bags, tank bag, gps mount, some gloves and the first service at no cost.  I've been riding around Ohio and Pennsylvania but am looking forward to some long cross-country trips next year.  It looks like there is some great information on this site.

Welcome to the forum!  Love the black TTSE.  I just had my bike yesterday and love it!

Folks here are extremely helpful and full of great information.

    Welcome!
You should have bought the blue version, it is much quicker than the black, gets better gas milage, prevents scurvy, and cures athletes foot!

I like the list of stuff picked up with the bike. Why the bags for inside the panniers? I find the stock bags are water tight even after a few hours of driving rain. I can see how they can make going in and out of a location easier.

As for the wife not understanding about multiple bikes I tried pointing out that they have more than one pair of shoes and more than one set of jewelry. Be careful with this tact as it could result in either you buying more of the same for her, or her just getting pissed at you. YMMV.

When in doubt gas it, at least it ends the suspense.

jim515 - the blue version is faster, so much faster that it as not even around the showroom when I went in.  Oh well, I'll struggle with the black.  I decided on the pannier bags for two reasons: the first is I didn't have to pay for them, and the second is I'm thinking it may make it easier to grab stuff out and take it with me.  That's yet to be seen.  Love the bike so far, it handles really nicely.

:400: to the forum, and congrats on the new bike.  I'm working on trying to acquire as many shotguns as she has shoes but I'm not making a lot of headway.  I think I'll need to buy some property and put a large building on it if it looks like I"ll even get close to her shoe inventory with my motorcycles  :156:
