Rubber cover topbox
« on: June 10, 2013, 09:30:20 AM »
Hi - did anyone with a triumph topbox get a rubber cover to fit over the socket connection when the topbox is unattached?

Get's a mention in the user manual p.87 but can't find mine; (nor the spare lock barrel under the seat).

Thanks.

Yes. It was in the Top Box when I picked the bike up. :158:

Mine was in a bag of extra bits (from the tanks bag fitting).  But the dealer expressly showed me it and said where it went.  He told me to fit it whenever I remove the top box.  Bit of a pain having to carry it around and I would have thought there must be some protection without it?  It is in the Trophy document folder in the cupboard somewhere.  With the spare key and the key tag.

Got mine with the bike. No extra key barrel. Guess they used for the trunk.

My barrel was used on the top box the key and tag I am talking about are the actual spare key and the key identifier (I am sure it is for the RFID so that you can get a copy if you lose one).
