    '15 Trophy SE - ##WITHDRAWN from Sale##

    '15 Trophy SE,  It is the faster, smoother and better looking Blue!  1750 miles( may go up slightly)  Has heated grips, Sargent seat and Cee Bailey sport windshield.  Stock shield of course is included.  Set of uninstalled 20mm Lust lowering links included with sale.  Bike comes with all manuals, 2 keys, and the Triumph attache bag that came with the bike.  These items don't come with the bikes that Triumph sent to auction.  Factory warranty until May of 2019.  Bike was bought new from a Triumph Dealer, had first service done at same dealer.  Bike is in showroom condition.  I hate chrome so I removed the emblems that are held on with double sided tape.  Personally I think the bike looks 10X better without them.  Either way they come with the bike and can be put back on easily.  There is 1 small scratch on the corner of the right saddlebag, hardly noticeable until you are a foot away from it but I believe in full disclosure.  Bike has never been dropped or down, always garaged, seldom ridden and adult owned.  Clear title in hand.  $11,500. obo  Thanks

    Actually not going to sell it.  Rode my BMW today and it reminded me what a nice bike the Trophy is.  It certainly is going to become harder to replace if the rumors are true so I'm selling my BMW instead.

    I know exactly how you feel. I've been considering selling my Trophy and going in a different direction for a few months now. I've been having a hard time going any further than just considering it, its a difficult machine to part with. There's really very few luxury sport touring models available, and the few that are, don't impress me. I consider the TTSE one of the best bikes that I've ever owned, so parting with it is something that I've decided I'm not ready to do yet. I don't ride every day anymore, primarily on the weekend and every now and then during the week. I no longer need 3 bikes sitting in the stables, and I've gotten rid of the other two. That being said, I still want one great machine sitting in the garage ready to go when I'm ready to ride. I've decided for the time being, its still going to be the TTSE.

    Agreed.
    If you look at the alternatives;
    FJR and Concourse both handle like a pregnant Yak
    BMW RT  Great bike but $7-$10k more and a terrible transmission(there are 7 major updates to the tranny for '17 and BMW says there's nothing wrong with the '13-'16 bikes)  Plus every time I walk into a BMW dealership I feel like they look at me like I'm ripe for picking.
    What else is there?  The new Explorer is beautiful but it will be there after I ride the Trophy for a few more years.  I can't replace the Trophy for what I paid for it, I enjoy riding it, and there may not be anymore in the future.  I'm keeping it!

    I am going to test ride a Moto Guzzi NORGE ,, just for kicks and giggles,  But it might make me put my TTSE up
    A nasty weather day riding is still better than any day working

    My Trophy's stablemate is a Moto Guzzi Stelvio 8V 1200 twin.    It is AS GOOD A two-up transcontinental touring bike as the Trophy, as my wife and I can both attest.

    It's nice to have a choice of which bike to take on the next trip, good to know that I've got flexibility if one bike goofs, and nice to have a spare for friends to ride when they come from overseas and we want to tour together.

    A riding buddy of mine got a brand new Norge early 2015... he's had trouble mechanically -- a leaking gear case was the second of two issues he had, I can't remember what the first one was, but both were in the first year of ownership.

    He had trouble with the dealer -- they dropped it -- and didn't think he would notice so forgot to mention it! :005::151:

    I hope you have better luck in both categories should you decide to go the MG route. It's a pretty bike, but certainly no TTSE.
