Another Horn Install Fiamm El Grande Dual Horn
« on: December 05, 2016, 12:52:53 am »
I installed the El Grande Dual horn this weekend and documented some placement of horns and relay in hopes that it may be of assistance to others.

The pictures will tell the story.  The two bright red wires-one connects the horns together the other is the fused line from the battery.  On this install i left the stock horn and spliced off of the feed lines to the relay.  With the relay unplugged the stock horn still functions.  If the relay would go out, I will still have a horn.  The stock horn honks at the same time as the new horns, but you sure can't hear it! :156:

You should be able to see the mounting locations.  I used the same bolt location on both sides of the bike with both horns.   I also used the mounts supplied in the kit from FIAMM.  However, I did use a different relay with a plug in socket.

Everything is away from the headers and the side panels are not touching.

Useful and highly recommended, since the standard horn that carries a Trophy of more than 20,000 euros does not deserve to carry a horn like the one that comes standard, a 50cc moped has a better horn than a trophy.
Only motorcyclists know why dogs stick their head out the car window.

Excellent!  4+ years later mine are still working great and I’ve startled a handful of idiots with it :002:
