    Hello from Florida

Picked up my 2015 a few days ago. I've had a lot of different bikes over the years, have been riding Harley's for the last 10 years or so. I thought I would try something different, I wanted a bike for 2 up weekend touring.
I haven't put many miles on it yet, but WOW, this is a fun ride (but you know that). Not sportbike fast but tons of usable power. So well balanced it feels like a much lighter bike. The wind protection is almost too good, I'm concerned about hot weather riding, weather I'll get enough Breeze or not.

    So far I'm loving it

Welcome to the Trophy family and this forum which is the greatest tool in my toolbox.  The shared experience and advice is priceless.

As for hot weather riding, I suggest you look at National Cycle

    http://www.nationalcycle.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=trophy

I actually own all three of the National Cycle wind screens for the Trophy.  I bought my Trophy from them, it was their product development bike.

The Sport is great for hot humid weather here in the Chicago area (especially if you wear a helmet and protective clothing as I do), the Sport/Tour is great 75% if the time, and the Touring is great when the weather dips below 50 degrees.  (All of this is based on being 5'10" and sitting on a Corbin seat which is about 3/4 inch taller than the standard seat in the high position.)

The one problem I have with the Trophy movable wind screen is that the higher it goes, the more vertical it appears to go increasing wind resistance.  This is why I invested in the three different wind screens (the Sport/Tour came with the bike), because I do not mind adjusting the screen up a little, but moving it up too high seems to create a significant increase in drag.

Again, this forum and its participants are an outstanding resource.  Enjoy the Trophy.

Welcome. You've figured out a lot in a few days!

    Enjoy the ride!
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

:400: to the forum.  Ride it without the luggage on it some time, you  will see a definite difference.  Since my wife doesn't ride with me I seldom have the luggage on it any more.
