good morning,the service manual is only a pdf file or is it a real manual from triumph? also I am thinking of that set up for my zumo 550 and was wondering if you could give me a quick run down on how you wired it,thank you Eric

The manual is a real manual as in the photo's, its book binder form. The wiring for the GPS can be done several ways. I myself added an additional power port on the right side coming off the battery. I removed the battery cover, direct wired the power port to the battery, replaced the cover leaving the power port on the inside of the fork well. I then mounted it inside the fork well (roughly 4" down the well) so that I had a more convenient power port up front for the GPS or any other accessory. I run the power cable down about 4" along with the bundle of other cables coming off the right side steering column with enough reach for the power port access a little lower in the well, its a clean install and cant be seen (unless you look down in the well). If you want it to a switchable power source that turns on and off with the key, it can be wired to the 12 volt wiring that goes to the power port in the glove box on the left side in the exact same way that I ran the wiring on the right side (just up and underneath the plastic cover).
