    Mid Layer Pullover

Triumph is offering a "Mid Layer Pullover" that is billed to help keep you warm. I got one a few weeks ago and  I have yet to wear it on the bike (see the Signs of Winter in Ohio tread). However I've worn it as a mid layer on walks outside in the Ohio winter. It really does keep you warm so much so that I can't wear it in the house.

It's a bit on the expensive side. My local dealer had them in stock so I was able to try on a few different sizes. I thought they ran a bit small and wound up getting one size large than what I usually get. The dealer gave me a nice discount but it's still pricy.

So far I'm very pleased with it.

Heres the link to the Triumph America website:

My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

I am curious on how bulky it is.  Sweatshirt bulky?  Or more turtleneck type bulky?

    Thanks :002:

It's not bulky at all. It's no more bulky than UnderArmor cold gear but it's different. The front and back are different fabrics. I have no idea how it works but I'm really impressed so far.

Here is the web address of the company that makes this mid layer gear and slaps on the Triumph branding.

Like I said, given how thin it is I have no idea how it works but it's really good.

I use a cold killer as a mid layer and it is brilliant.  I also have a very thin Edz sort of mid layer that is extremely small when packed up in my rear pocket to use if I get caught out and need another layer.  Both are amazing.

Just picked one up at Iron Pony in Columbus.  Seems to be a pretty nice article of clothing.  If you are going to mail order, consider one size larger.  Just sayin'...

Iron Pony has their new dedicated Triumph room open.  Lot's of Triumph bikes on two floors.   One 2016 Black Trophy.

I was at Iron Pony yesterday! I concur with the one size larger idea.

I wore the pullover on a ride today. It was ~40°F. I wore a tee shirt, the pullover, and a lined mesh jacket. I was very comfortable.
