Progressive International Motorcycle Show Dallas Texas

    Well it's this coming weekend January 13th 14th & 15th.
I wanted to see if Triumph would be there this year , last Triumph was not there and it looks like they will not be there this year.
Last year Triumph went to a Dealer here to show off the new Bonneville models.

So to go or not to go????? Anyone know for sure??

I like my Triumph and would like to wear my Triumph hat without someone saying you voted for """Trump"""  and me saying "Yes I do like my Triumph Motorcycle" ,,,  :172:

Its a mistake Triumph makes all the time. I don't know why, but they don't do a lot of shows. Same here, they did send a Truck to the new Triumph Dealership here last year but wasn't at the show. If its an advertising budget issue, doing the shows is a lot cheaper than print or TV advertising and you're reaching the market that matters.

I went to the Bobber unveil in Cleveland last week. Everyone there was a Triumph owner or was a Triumph lover already. They didn't reach a single new potential customer. In two weeks the Progressive International Motorcycle show will be in Cleveland with thousands and thousands of attendees and Triumph won't be there.

I have a red Triumph hat with white lettering. I can't begin to tell you how many people interpreted the Triumph to be Trump.
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

Two years ago Triumph was at the show and there was a lot of interest in the Duel Sport's all the different Tiger's  and they had the land speed "Motorcycle " there.
You would think they would "GET IT".
I was asked this last weekend if my Trophy was a BMWU again it's hard to get upset that most people don't know so I take the time to show just how the Triumph has bested the other one.
The older people ask so they started making motorcycles after the cars ? The younger people ask so who makes Triumph?

The show was disappointing smaller than last year and I could not find a Skull Chrome Beer holder for my Trophy all they would work on was all the HD's.

I did see a catalog for HD parts that looked a Sears catalog about 3" thick.

BMW was there and I did look at the RT and the 1600 GT ,  the RT exhaust looked higher than before and it limits the side case size has that changed?
The GT was nice but bigger than I think I would like.

The FJR looked ok as did the Concours.

At the rate the show has gotten smaller in two years it will be gone.
I wonder if Triumph told the three Triumph dealers here in the area not to participate in the show?

When and if I have to replace my Trophy I will look at something with more horse power.

+1.  Another 30 or so horsepower with this weight would not be remiss.
