What does an external pressure gauge report?

LOL

I fill tires to 40 cold checked a very accurate gauge. The pressure builds to 43-44 depending on conditions.
Strange that the cockpit display agrees with the gauge, but the TPM issues a warning.

have you tried adding an extra 10 lbs for testing purposes only. just to see if it satisfies the warning.

I have not gone 10+ but 5+ satisfies the warning system. The dealer will replace the read TPS.

I found a mathematical formula to adjust initial pressure for temp and barometric pressure. It is 92F and I am at 2000', I'll run 42.5 PSI and see if the warning goes away. Could the TPS's really be that much more accurate than the dash indication? Triumph says to not use the dash indication for initial pressure settings.
